Experienced, novice and intermediate runners are being invited to get their early bird entries in for the Care for Kids Barnstaple 10k race this June.
The charity is offering a discounted early bird rate for entrants up until February 14 for the ninth instalment of the race, which takes place on Sunday, June 7.
It starts and finishes at Barnstaple Rugby Club, with a largely flat route that makes it the ideal race for beginners, as well as experienced runners hoping to achieve a personal best.

All proceeds will go towards local charity Care for Kids North Devon, which provides financial support to North Devon families who have a child diagnosed with a life-threatening illness or condition.
The charity also carries out ongoing enhancements at the Caroline Thorpe children’s ward at North Devon District Hospital.

Jacky Massos, charity manager, said: “Our Barnstaple 10K is the highlight of our year and is really popular with local runners.
“As a charity race, all your entry fee is spent to help local families in need in North Devon. Get in quick if you want to take advantage of our early bird offer, as it is only available for one month.
“We also need volunteers and more sponsors, so if you’d like to do something amazing for our small charity, please get in touch.”
The event is supported by headline sponsor Brewer, Harding & Rowe, but if any other local businesses would like to support the race, please do contact Care for Kids North Devon.
Runners can sign up online at www.careforkidsnorthdevon.org.uk and for ongoing update, join the Care for Kids Barnstaple 10k run Facebook page.
