A combined summer concert with Barnstaple Male Voice Choir and Romsey Male Voice Choir has raised £900 for St John Ambulance.

The proceeds from the event, one of several fundraising concerts held by the choir throughout the year, were presented to local St John Ambulance personnel at a recent choir practice.

George Stacey from St John Ambulance said: “We are grateful to have been chosen by Barnstaple Male Voice Choir.

“We had a great evening with both choirs and the monies raised will support our work in the local community as England’s first aid charity, helping the local community to be first aid confidant, ready and able to respond when needed, saving more lives.”
