Kingsley School is inviting the community to its spectacular Laser Show to music on November 7 as an alternative to fireworks.

A North Devon school is swapping fireworks for lights this November by offering a spectacular laser pyrotechnic show to music for an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional Bonfire Night celebration.

Kingsley School in Bideford is hosting a dazzling laser show in aid of North Devon Hospice on Friday, November 7 in what it says is a bold, breath-taking alternative that lights up the sky while being kinder to the planet.

The school is inviting the community to the event at its sports field from 5.30pm and visitors will be treated to cutting-edge laser technology, pyrotechnic flames and a high-energy soundtrack to get the crowd dancing beneath the light show.

Kingsley headmaster Rob Pavis said: “We’re trading fireworks for stunning lasers, feel-good music, and thrilling flame effects.

“It’s every bit as dazzling, just more thoughtful, more inclusive and much better for the environment.”

The laser show is created by one of the UK’s leading laser display teams, the same crew behind shows for Kylie Minogue and Pete Tong.
