Team England sprinter to inspire pupils at Southmead Primary School

Southmead Primary School hosting athletics fundraiser
Southmead Primary School in Braunton is looking forward to welcoming Team England sprinter Nicholas Walsh for an inspirational sporting workshop aimed at motivating and encouraging pupils.
The visit will provide children with a fantastic opportunity to meet an elite athlete, hear about his sporting journey and be inspired to pursue their own ambitions.
Nicholas is also raising funds to help cover essential training, medical and competition costs. The fundraising initiative will not only support his athletic career but will also help Southmead Primary School and other athletes across the country benefit from the project.
The school, which prides itself on providing a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment, is committed to helping every child feel valued and achieve their full potential. Its ethos centres on developing confident, kind and resilient young people who respect others and are prepared to make a positive contribution to their communities.
The workshop promises to be an exciting opportunity to bring elite sport into the classroom and inspire the next generation.
