The McDonald’s restaurant at Clovelly Road in Bideford is open again following refurbishment

Bideford’s McDonald’s restaurant has reopened following a redesign of the dining area that makes for better use of space and easier food ordering for customers.

The restaurant in Clovelly Road opposite the Affinity Devon shopping centre opened again on Tuesday following the works.

McDonald’s said its reimaging programme combines a new restaurant layout with the latest technology to create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for customers.

Bideford McDonald’s franchisee, David Shawyer, who owns and operates 16 McDonald’s restaurants in Devon and Somerset, said: “I’m proud to reinvest in our Bideford restaurant.

“The dining area is more contemporary and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers leading to a better experience for everyone.

“It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Bideford restaurant and I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our restaurant team as these will help make their jobs a little easier.”

There has also been a redesign of the crew room which will create a more relaxing and comfortable space for them to take a break.
