Pupils at two Bideford schools have been asked to get festive and design Christmas cards for the leaders of Torridge District Council.
The winners of the council’s annual Design a Christmas Card Competition were announced by Councillor Doug Bushby, council chair and deputy leader, Cllr Claire Hodson.
Pupils from West Croft School and St Margaret’s C of E Junior School showcased their artistic talents by creating Christmas card designs for the Council.
At West Croft School, children were invited to design a card for Cllr Bushby’s email Christmas greeting, which will be shared with fellow councillors, officers and members of the Torridge community.

The winning design was created by Jaecie-Anne, with runners-up Charlie Ray and Zoe.
