The line-up for North Devon's biggest food and drink festival has been announced! FOODfest, which will take place on Sunday, October 22, 2023, is set to feature some of the district's top chefs.

Hosted by the North Devon Council, the event is set to take place in the newly regenerated Barnstaple Pannier Market, providing the perfect backdrop for a day filled with culinary delights. With top chefs from the district's finest restaurants, food enthusiasts are in for a memorable experience.

The line-up for FOODfest 2023 includes:

  • 11.00 AM: Sarah Howells – Gluten-Free Blogger
  • 12.15 PM: Robert Bryant – Maiden Arch
  • 1.15 PM: Exmoor Young Chef Winner (to be confirmed upon competition winner announcement)
  • 2.00 PM: Cocktails with Claytons & The Glasshouse
  • 3.00 PM: North Devon Hospice 'Dining Out experience draw' (tickets can be purchased during FOODfest)

Adding to the excitement, the event will be hosted by Seth Conway, who will keep the audience engaged throughout the day.

But that's not all; FOODfest 2023 will also feature a diverse array of food and drink exhibitors who will be showcasing their delectable local products. From artisanal delicacies to unique beverages, there will be something to satisfy every palate.

Barnstaple town centre manager, Hannah Harrington, says: “FOODfest helps to promote our area and support our suppliers, growers and traders. The event is always a massive boost for the town’s economy and with such a great line-up, this year is sure to be as popular as ever."

Leader of North Devon Council, councillor Ian Roome, said: "Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 22, and join us at FOODfest 2023 for a culinary adventure. Be prepared to indulge in the district's finest cuisine, mingle with renowned chefs, and experience the magic of food in the heart of our community! I hope to see you there."
