The North Devon Today Homepage
This week the North Devon Gazette and Clear Sky Publishing are pleased to announce we are rolling out a new website with a new name, North Devon Today.
This new website, which has a focus on providing up to date breaking news and community content, should greatly improve our readers' access to stories from the heart of the North Devon community.
Regular visitors to the current North Devon Gazette website will find they can easily see a broader range of stories right from their first click on the new site.
The North Devon Today website will also feature a refreshed list of sections, making it easier for you to find the content that matters to you.
It's also a lot easier to navigate with everything you need to search, browse and enjoy our articles, videos, pictures and audio.
These changes will not negatively impact our E-Edition or any of the perks our North Devon Gazette subscribers enjoy.
The process for our journalists is now much more streamlined, saving hours of their time which is better spent out and about in our wonderful communities, tracking down stories, filming interviews and attending community events.
North Devon Gazette editor Joseph Bulmer said: "We are very much looking forward to rolling out our new North Devon Today platform, not only does it look better than the system we were using it will also put more articles and content before visitors to the site.
"Our previous website was always intended to be a temporary solution to providing our fantastic content to web users, this announcement represents months of work put in by our team to find the best website solution that delivers value for money for us, as well as vastly improving our digital offering.
"The other important factor with this new site is the time savings we've made. You can expect to see more great local content from reporters from and based in North Devon, unlike our rivals."
Joseph added: "The impact of Covid, the economic impacts of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Brexit have all had a negative impact on our business and we've been working hard to readjust in light of these new conditions. This new website represents an important part of our intention to ensure the North Devon Gazette paper and North Devon Today stand the test of time and continue to serve our amazing communities for many years."
We welcome any constructive feedback on the new website, feel free to send your thoughts to editor Joseph Bulmer, joseph.bulmer@clearskypublishing.co.uk
