Do Chickens Make You Laugh - they do at Oldway.
The Oldway Gardens Volunteer Group is hoping the unusual sales pitch will catch the eye of the public for their latest fund-raising venture.
An Easter Trail is being organised at Oldway Gardens in Paignton during the Easter holidays.
Every participant will be given a trail sheet full of chicken jokes and they will have to explore the grounds of Oldway Gardens looking for wooden chickens which will have the joke’s punchline.
There will also be Easter pictures for the younger children to find while the adults enjoy the jokes.
The cost is £1 per trail sheet which can be collected from the Gardeners Yard.
A spokesman said: “We aim to keep the cost as low as possible to make this activity affordable for everyone. Any left over profit will be used to help the group maintain Oldway Gardens. Everyone helping is a volunteer.”
There will be refreshments available from a shed in the Gardeners Yard for the trail which will be held every day between Friday April 3 and Sunday April 19 from 10am to 4pm
