Leo McMenamin boxed against Islington’s Patsy McCan in London for a place in the England Boxing Junior Semi-Finals.

McMenamin boxed at long range from his southpaw stance keeping his aggressive opponent at bay. In the second, McMenamin’s work was flowing and clean left straights were finishing the combinations with great success.

The Bideford boxer had the lead going into the last but he had another big push with non-stop work rate, showing his class and great punch selection on the way to the points win.

McMenamin has been on a fine run of form, with his last loss coming against World Champion Jayden Price, since then he has won five fights in a row.
