There’s still time to get your tickets for the 2023 Mayor’s Ball at the Barnstaple Hotel on Saturday, June 17.

The event will raise much needed funds for local charities and is a great opportunity for them to showcase what they do in supporting the local community.

Guests to the event will be met with a cocktail reception before enjoying a three-course dinner and entertainment from local musicians. There will be a charity raffle and auction as well as a guest DJ.

The Ball will be in aid of The Veterans Charity, Encompass Southwest and The ADHD & Autistic Spectrum Charity.

Veterans Charity - Provide support to Veterans who find themselves battling hardship and the distress it causes. They are able to assist with essentials such as food shopping (including pet and baby products where required), utilities support, clothing and footwear, household items and single appliances, smartphones/tablets and calling credit/data.

Encompass Southwest - Encompass Southwest is an independent registered charity that provides a range of advice, information, and support services in communities across the Southwest of England, with a strong focus on rural/rural remote settlements. Their main focuses are on Homelessness and Rough Sleeping for adults and young people, Supported Housing, Financial Inclusion (Money and Debt Advice).

North Devon Forum for Autistic Spectrum Conditions and ADHD - Are A Parent/Carer Led Support Group. Established in 1992 by a group of parents and professionals concerned with children on the spectrum. Their scope widened to include adults and ADHD alongside related conditions.

The Charity Ball promises to be the perfect opportunity for spending enjoyable time with family and friends or for corporate entertaining

Tables for the Ball are available to seat eight people although tickets can be purchased individually, by couples or in groups. A booking form can be found on the Barnstaple Town Council website: www.barnstapletowncouncil.gov.uk/booking

Dress code: Rosé & Diamonds, black tie/long or cocktail dress.
