Good week for Bude teams

Bude teams were successful in the North Devon Netball League this week.

Nicole Worth led their Division 2 team Stars to victory over Titans Venus, while Victoria Urquart’s shooting ensured Satellites maintained their lead over Coodes in Division 3.

Also in Division 3, Venners Bakery Adders linked through the court to put 37 past North Devon Homes.

Carol Anne Emeralds and Langtree Re-Unites Rogues could not be separated in Division 2. The match was close throughout and Charlotte Sedgley and Jade Norridge were outstanding and fought for their teams to the final whistle. Panthers found their form and netted 43 goals to defeat Carol Anne Amethysts.

The young Carol Anne teams faced each other in Division 4 with Jets, inspired by Catherine Mitcham, defeating Opals 39-12.

Titans Pluto maintained their unbeaten record, scoring 25 against Langtree Re-Unites Rhinos, with great defending by Laura Elliott.

In the top flight, Carol Anne Diamonds, Titans Apollo and Carol Anne Trolls showed their style again to take full points from their matches.

Div 1: Carol Anne Diamonds 58, Carol Anne Sapphires 24; Carol Anne Trolls 48, Titans Voyager 30; Titans Apollo 41, Pat Williams Girls 11.

Div 2: Panthers 43, Carol Anne Amethysts 28; Bude Stars 38, Titans Venus 11; Carol Anne Emeralds 21, Langtree Re-Unites Rogues 21.

Div 3: Venners Bakery Adders 37, North Devon Homes 19; Bude Satellites 31, Coodes 20.

Div 4: Carol Anne Jets 39, Carol Anne Opals 12; Titans Pluto 25, Langtree Re-Unites Rhinos 14; Carol Anne Topaz 23, South Molton Eagles 13; Exmoor Beasties 18, Woolacombe Wolves 16.
