Tough times for Torrington

LAST season's North Devon Triples League champions Torrington B are suffering a torrid time this year, with a 9-1 defeat at the hands of Bradworthy B following a previous 10-0 defeat by Strand and currently sit next to bottom in Division 1.

United Services B and Bradworthy B are now joint leaders, but with Services having played one game less.

In a close Division 3, Holsworthy's 8-2 defeat away to South Molton B was enough to send them from top of the table down to one of the relegation spots.

Combe Martin B, however, are already putting in a strong challenge for Division 6 honours and their fourth consecutive win, 8-2 at home to Bradworthy C, gives them an 11-point lead at the top.
