The annual RNLI Art Show at North Devon Yacht Club, Instow, is marking its 40th anniversary this year.
The popular RNLI Art Show at Instow returns this weekend for its 40th anniversary instalment.
The showcase of work by local artists at North Devon Yacht Club has become a long-standing local tradition and has raised thousands of pounds for Appledore RNLI.
On Saturday and Sunday, October 4-5, visitors can once again enjoy free entry as they browse more than 250 pieces of artwork, with many of them for sale and 25% of all sales will go to the RNLI.
The show was first held 40 years ago and was the idea of local artists Eileen Harlow and Ian Hudson. That first show in 1985 attracted half a dozen artists and a few crafters and made £600.
