The Appledore RNLI Art Show has been hailed a huge success after more than £18,000 was spent on original artwork and crafts – with £5,000 donated to support the RNLI.
More than 60 artists displayed their works at North Devon Yacht Club at Instow during the two day show last weekend.
The show is a popular annual event and was curated this year by Lee Holman and Wendy Harrison. It opened with a preview evening on the Friday and then ran across both Saturday and Sunday.
Sally Adamou, club secretary for the Appledore RNLI Fundraising Guild, said: “Huge thanks to Wendy and Lee plus all the RNLI volunteers who made last weekend’s Art Show a success.
“Thank you to everyone who supported the RNLI art show.”
