Kingsley School has followed its record-breaking A Level results last week with its best ever GCSE outcomes this week.
This year’s results are significantly above national averages by every measure, with 30% of all entries achieving grade 9 to 7 and 85.2% securing grade 9 to 4.
Core subjects were particularly strong, with 90% achieving grade 9 to 4 in both maths and English and 86% in sciences. Many of the optional subjects achieved above 80% grade 9 to 7.

Individual successes included Hamesh (eight grades at 9 to 7), Alex, Cissy and Lily (seven grades at 9 to 7 each), David (six at grade 9 or 8), Felicity (six at grade 9 to 7), Maddie (five at grade 9 to 7) and Raife (four at grade 9 to 7 plus four at grade 6).

Headteacher Robert Pavis said: “The focus on mental health and wellbeing has ensured that our students have achieved the best GCSE outcomes ever recorded at Kingsley.
“These results are a testament to recent investment across the school, the focus on academic support and interventions, and the incredible hard work of our students.”
