The academy’s 181 students achieved an Attainment 8 score this year (a measure of how well students have attained across eight of their GCSEs) of 47.7.

Plus 74% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and maths, while students achieving at a grade 5 or above in both English and maths came in at 50%. Lastly, 12% of students achieved both English and maths results at grade 7 or higher.

Headteacher Steve Rogers said: “Once again, our students have achieved outstanding results, with pass rates in English and Maths expected to be around 20% above the national average.

“These achievements clearly reflect how our young people have upheld our key values of ‘dreaming big, taking responsibility and being kind’.

“We are incredibly proud of their dedication, resilience and hard work, supported every step of the way by our staff and families.

“It is a privilege to see so many students ready to take their next steps with confidence, whether that be continuing into our sixth form or pursuing other exciting opportunities.”
