CHULMLEIGH and Appledore are among five stations in Devon set to receive new fire engines today (Tuesday).
The vehicles cost �180,000 each and represent the first five of a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service replacement programme totalling nine appliances.
The Chief Fire Officer and Authority Chairman will officially take ownership of the five new fire appliances at Service Headquarters, Clyst St George, Exeter, this morning.
Brixham, Salcombe and Bere Alston will also receive new vehicles.
