SINGING coach Julie Parker, who wants to launch a cabaret club in Barnstaple, is trying out her idea with a concert on May 30.She is hiring the community hall at Roundswell to present a Celebration of the Voice in aid of North Devon Hospice.A cosy atmosphere will be created and entertainment will be provided by the Tinker Taylor group, guitarist Edward Thornborough from the Oggle Band, Belle, a Mediterranean-style duo and the Sing for Life group among others.D oors open at 8pm for an 8.30pm start.
