North Devon Hospice is encouraging residents to support their work by signing up for the hospice’s weekly lottery, which offers a £1,000 jackpot every Friday.

For just £1 a week, participants help fund the care provided to patients and families across the region.

The money raised supports the hospice’s vital work, particularly during the challenging winter months.

Ros, a Barnstaple resident, was one of the lucky winners last year.

She used her £1,000 prize to fund a winter holiday.

"It was just what I needed, and made even better because it was so unexpected!" she said.

Richard Carter, Head of New Income and Lottery at North Devon Hospice, explained: “Joining the lottery is an easy way to support local families in their time of need, while also having the chance to win £1,000 each week. Whether you play regularly or just occasionally, your contribution helps ensure that we can continue providing crucial care to those who need it most."

The hospice’s lottery is an important source of funding, providing essential support for patients throughout North Devon.
