The John Walter Quartet will be the next offering at North Devon Jazz Club in Appledore’s The Beaver Inn on Monday, January 19.
The foursome is led by pianist John Walter and features the distinctive melodic sound of violinist Tim Herniman.
Completing the band will be Marcus Vergette on bass and Ronnie Jones on drums and the programme will be a mix of material, including numbers by Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Bill Evans and Thelonious Monk.
The gig starts at 8.30pm and entry is free, although there will be a collection for the band during the evening. For a meal booking, call The Beaver on 01237 474822.
