A new International Food Market is set to open in Torquay tomorrow, Friday 28 November.
The shop at 14 Market Street will welcome customers from 11:00am.
The market is thought to be an expansion of the shop next door, which is known locally for its selection of Polish and other international foods. Shoppers say it stocks a wide range of gluten-free products and hard-to-find ingredients for Asian and Indian cooking.

The news has been welcomed on social media.
“Well done. It’s so good to see the town opening up again. Brilliant, good on them and I do hope it’s got a butchers. This is fantastic news. Love seeing places open rather than close,” one Facebook user wrote.
Another added: “This new shop is a welcome development for Market Street, bringing a wider range of options to residents and visitors alike.”
A third said: “It’s so hard to find authentic ingredients for Asian and Indian dishes in Torquay.”
The shop is a welcomed addition to Market Street, bringing more choice to residents and visitors at a time when the town has seen a number of closures.
At least 10 shops have shut in Torquay this year due to legal action, including four in July and six more in September for selling illegal vapes and tobacco.
In addition, nine shops in the Union Square redevelopment face potential closure, as part of a multi-million-pound project to build homes, new public spaces, and a revamped market, though it is not yet clear if these closures will take place this year.
