This viral school singalong is heading to Barnstaple this year

James B Partridge, viral TikTok teacher and creator of Primary School Bangers, will perform at Queen’s Theatre Barnstaple on 1 March 2026 as part of his UK tour.

Viral musician and primary school teacher James B Partridge is set to return to Barnstaple next year as part of his Primary School Bangers 2026 UK tour.

The performer will play Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple, on 1 March 2026, as one of a small number of preview shows ahead of a wider UK tour taking place in spring.

Mr Partridge has become known for his piano-led performances of traditional school assembly songs and playground favourites, often referred to as “Primary School Bangers”,  which are reworked into energetic singalong performances for adult audiences.

He first gained a following on TikTok and other social media platforms, where short videos of him performing songs commonly sung in primary schools were shared widely, attracting millions of views and a rapidly growing fan base.

The popularity of the videos led to live performances across the UK, with Mr Partridge going on to sell out theatres and appear at major events and festivals, including Glastonbury, where his set featured in the BBC’s festival highlights.

Alongside his touring schedule, Mr Partridge has continued working as a primary school teacher, a role he has said remains central to his career.

He has also appeared on a number of national broadcast programmes, including BBC Radio 2, The One Show and Songs of Praise: The Big School Assembly Singalong.

Tickets for the Barnstaple show and other tour dates are on sale via jamesbpartridge.com.
