Mouth watering line up for next South Molton Food and Drink Festival
Now in it’s third year, the South Molton Festival of Food and Drink has become and unmissable event for Devon foodies and the next event promises to be a tasty affair! With more than 60 sellers booked, the event on Sunday, February 26, is completely sold

Now in it’s third year, the South Molton Festival of Food and Drink has become and unmissable event for Devon foodies and the next event promises to be a tasty affair!

With more than 60 sellers booked, the event on Sunday, February 26, is completely sold out and visitors can expect a tempting selection of some of the South West’s finest food and drink producers as well as a variety of street food stalls.

This will be the sixth festival that South Molton Town Council have held and each event has grown in popularity with thousands flocking to the market to pick up award winning produce and sample cuisine from around the world.

Sellers include local ciders, handmade fudge and chocolates, honey, craft beers, preserves and chutneys, cheeses, bread and baked goods, cured meats, olives, gluten free goods, confectionary, gourmet marshmallows, local meats and even cocktails!

Visitors will also be able to chose from an impressive selection of African, Caribbean, South African, Indian, Italian, Korean and vegan street food as well as the ever popular hog roast.

Event organiser, Melanie James, said: “We have watched this event grow in popularity over the last couple of years and have attracted an amazing selection of sellers with an incredible variety of products. The market comes alive with the sights, sounds and smells of the incredible food and drink on offer and it is wonderful to see that this festival attracts visitors to the town from all over the West Country.”

Entry to this event is free and there is free parking available in the main central car park at the back of the market.
