IF?YOU think you have boundless energy, can sing like a jaybird and shout 'hee hah' you might like to join the other Farmers and Cowmen in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!
This extremely popular musical will hit the Queen's Theatre stage in March 2010 and there is still time to snap up one of the starring roles of the young hero Curly, his friend Will Parker or the scary Jud Fry.
This popular romance between cowboy Curly McLain and farm girl Laurey Williams is set outside the town of Claremore in 1906. Their love is challenged by Laurey's jealous and sinister farmhand, Jud Fry.
Her dizzy friend Ado Annie just can't make up her mind who to fall in love with: Will Parker or the pedlar, Ali Hakim. Who ever she is with, that's who she thinks she is in love with! Performed by the company who recently brought you Oliver! and Fiddler On The Roof, we anticipate a polished performance which will leave the audience on a high, singing these well loved songs: Oh What A Beautiful Mornin, The Surry With The Fringe On Top, People Will Say We're In Love, Oklahoma
