THE ladies of Swimbridge are fishing for fellas once more as a popular event returns to the village!Theatre on the Move is back and with it the need to recruit a few good men to join the cast of a series of short plays performed at different Swimbridge locations. The event runs from Tuesday, July 14 to Friday, July 17 and is staged by Swimbridge Productions to raise money for local charities. The innovative idea sees the audience walk from one play to the next atmospheric location to see the quartet of performances, each created by a local writer."No acting experience is necessary, just plenty of enthusiasm - the directors John Surman and Saskia Verton-Smith will help with the rest," explained event co-ordinator Julie Whitton.Weekly rehearsals are now starting up at the Swimbridge Jubilee Hall and as many men as possible have been urged to be part of it! To find out more, contact Julie on (01271) 830311.
