The story begins in the present day with friends sharing ghost stories around a fire... as you do. One of the guests tells a tale set in a brooding country mansion during the Victorian era of a young woman who becomes the governess to two orphaned children. Things then start to get a little spooky and questions start to arise as to whether the mansion is plagued by ghosts. Is it just the imaginings of the young governess? Or is she merely hallucinating?
