South Molton Community College is in full celebration mode after a superb range of performances in the North Devon Rugby 7s tournament.

The College said: “What a day for our rugby squads at the North Devon 7s! We are incredibly proud of all our players who competed, showing outstanding resilience and sportsmanship from start to finish.

“A massive congratulations to our Year 9 team, who finished the tournament unbeaten! Their performance was nothing short of dominant: 100+ points scored and only 3 tries conceded all day.

“Mr. O’Sullivan is bursting with pride at the progress this group has made this season. Their hard work has officially earned them a spot in the Devon 7s Finals!

“A huge well done to our Year 8 (Today) and Year 11 (Tuesday) squads who also took to the pitch. Both teams put in fantastic performances, playing with heart and representing the school with pride. The level of talent on display was exceptional!

“Thank you to the Mr Prentice and Mr O'Sullivan and players for making it such a successful day of rugby.”

Congratulations to all involved with rugby at South Molton Community College.
