North Devon rugby bragging rights belong to South Molton after a thrilling 27-25 victory over Bideford in the Counties 2 Tribute Ale Devon Division.
The Bideford Chiefs led for much of the game but South Molton stayed in touch and pinched victory with a late penalty from Jake Knapman. The defeat leaves Bideford ten points behind leaders Devonport Services and South Molton just two points further back in an extremely bunched chasing pack.
There was better news for Bideford Ladies, who won 32-0 at Exeter Saracens and also a comfortable victory for Bideford Quins.
Ilfracombe turned in the style in a 70-12 demolition of Exeter Engineers. There were doubles for Alipate Biaudamu and Louis Beer, with further tries scored by Ellis Rees, Sam Taylor, Ashley Naylor, Ethan Bowden, Josh Rumson, Andrew French, Nathan Townsend and Connor Irwin.
