Torrington Riptides
North Devon’s baseball team, the Torrington Riptides, announced their 2026 match schedule this week and the team will start their second full competitive season with four trips to Plymouth.
On the weekend of March 21 & 22, Torrington will join other teams in the region for the annual Clash at the Coast – a pre-season tournament hosted by the Plymouth Mariners.
The Riptides will visit the Mariners again on March 29 for a pre-season friendly, and the first two league fixtures for Torrington will also be in Plymouth – against the Plymouth Outlaws on April 12, and the Mariners on April 19.
The other teams making up the South West League single-A division this year will be the Exeter Wyverns and the Cornish Pioneers (based near Truro).
