Fremington Women in the Final
Massive congratulations to Fremington Women FC, who will be playing in the final of the Devon County Cup after a stirring 3-0 victory over Plymouth True Blues.
Fremington are enjoying a superb season in the league, riding high at the top of the table, and the double is now definitely on, as goals from Amy Parsons, Amelia Reed and Alicia Martin ensured a place in the showpiece event.
The club said: “A dominant display from start to finish — solid at the back, composed in midfield, and some amazing attempts at goal which gave us our lead. A clean sheet in a semi-final speaks volumes about the work rate and togetherness of this squad.
“We want to thank every single person that came out to support us today and support North Devon Hospice. You were heard and we appreciate it!”
