Devon Tennis set to celebrate County’s top players at Annual Awards Evening

The Devon Tennis Chairman and Committee have announced the return of the annual Devon Tennis Awards Evening, to be held at Exeter Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, January 28, with guests invited to arrive from 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.

Devon Tennis, representing the Lawn Tennis Association in the county, plays a key role in developing both tennis and padel, overseeing tournaments, coaching programs for all age groups, county performance squads, and promoting accessibility in the sport. In 2025, the organisation engaged approximately 80,000 players across Devon, with over half participating regularly.

The awards evening, sponsored by Lexus and WBW Solicitors, provides a celebratory social occasion for players, coaches, clubs, and families to come together. Attendees will enjoy a buffet supper while recognising the county’s achievements in tennis and padel over the past year.

Awards will be presented across a range of categories, celebrating contributions from members of the tennis community of all ages, including players, coaches, and clubs. The evening also offers updates and news on county initiatives, competitions, and development programs.

The event promises a warm and festive celebration of Devon’s vibrant tennis community, highlighting the county’s commitment to fostering participation and performance in tennis and padel.
