Bideford AAC 5K runners
A great summer of running is showing no signs of losing pace for the amazing team at Bideford Amateur Athletic Club.
Last week, it was all about top times for a quartet of members at the Exeter 5K. Finley Cloak finished 7th in a time of 16:13, followed by John O’Donoghue 8th in 16:15, Nick Lapham 19th in 16:52 and Leigh Crossman 43rd in 17:46.
The Bideford Blues also sent a team to Mid-Devon for the Tiverton Canal Canter 10K, and another fine set of results, starting with Tom Owen finishing 6th overall (4th senior man) in 42:37. Jon Lamont was 8th overall (6th senior man) in 45:10, John Sleep 11th overall (1st Vet45) in 48:52 and Jess Gierke was 3rd female and 1st Vet55 in 53:30.
A great summer for the Bideford Blues and planning is already in place for some autumn running with entries now open for the Bideford 10 Mile 2025 in November.
