Holsworthy Golf Club Ladies
The Ladies of Holsworthy Golf Club have taken the 19th Hole bragging rights after defeating the Men’s team 4-2 to win the traditional Millennium Salver.
Ladies captain Nicky Williams accepted the shield from Seniors captain Richard Morgan Jones and the men will have to get practising if they are to win it back next year.
There was better news for the male side of the club in the Kyocera Matchplay, as they defeated Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club to progress into Round Four of the competition. Well played to George Wilcox, Pete Isaac, Mark Bellew, Roger Pope and Lloyd Fursdon.
The competitions have been flowing thick and fast on the famous old fairways of Royal North Devon Golf Club and it is congratulations to Paula Gibbs, winner of the 2025 Bruford Cup with a Nett score of two over across two rounds.
