Bideford RFC Junior Jack Cotgreave debuts for Gloucester
The blossoming professional rugby career of young Jack Cotgreave has taken another significant leap forward after he made his senior debut for Gloucester Rugby in a 36-14 defeat at Saracens in the Gallagher Premiership.
The former Bideford RFC junior emerged from the bench on 62 minutes and, while he was unable to turn the result in favour of his team against the powerful Sarries, it was a moment of huge personal pride for Jack and his family, as well as all involved at Bideford Rugby Club.
Bideford RFC recognised the achievement by saying: “Former Bideford junior player Jack Cotgreave made his Premiership debut for Gloucester Rugby, coming off the bench against Saracens at the Stone X Stadium. Congratulations from all at Bideford RFC.”
Jack’s growing promise at the top of the game also saw him selected for the England U19 squad last month.
