Conor McIntosh in action
Bideford boxer cruises to victory
Bideford boxer Conor McIntosh got back to winning ways with a shut-out points win against Kasey Bradburn.
McIntosh featured live on BBC TV in Swansea in his first fight since his World Title Fight loss. The Bideford boxer dominated from start to finish, showing elusive reflexes with his hit-and-not-get-hit style. Bradburn was hurt in the fifth round from a short left-hook but used all his experience to see the final bell.
McIntosh has now landed himself another big fight, as the British Board Of Control have ordered him to fight Nathan Howells in a final eliminator for the Super Featherweight British Title.
McIntosh said: “I got out tonight, brushed the cobwebs off and won every round against a tricky opponent. I will be straight back into training now, getting ready for my next fight as I make it one step closer to winning the British Title. I have beat Nathan Howells before and know I can do it again.
“Reece Bellotti is the current British Champion, I believe I can beat him and achieve my dream of lifting the British Title. Once again, thanks to my team and support, this fairytale story that my boxing career has become wouldn’t be possible without any of you and I’m forever grateful.”
