Bideford AFC host Shaftesbury in the Southern League
The challenge is set for Bideford AFC, who can make it three wins in a row when they host Shaftesbury at the Sports Ground on Saturday.
An inspired first-half display handed the Robins an important 2-1 win over Larkhall Athletic in their last outing, following on from a 3-1 defeat of Bemerton Heath Harlequins, and the Shaftesbury game is a big one, as the visitors sit just a point behind Bideford in the bottom six of the Southern League Division One South.
It is also an important weekend for Ilfracombe Town in the Jewson Western League. The Bluebirds travel to third-bottom St Blazey and a massive opportunity to open up a healthy cushion above the bottom three.
At the other end of the table, Barnstaple Town host Paulton Rovers and will move top of the pile with a victory, as current leaders Brixham are on FA Vase duty.
Torridgeside are playing for a place in the Peninsula League Cup quarter-finals when they host Liskeard Athletic on Saturday. It will be a tough challenge for the T-Siders, with Liskeard currently fourth in the West division. Holsworthy are at home to St Day in a mid-table clash.
Appledore are at home to Bere Alston United in the Devon Premier Cup, while Fremington travel to East Devon to take on Beer Albion in the same competition and North Molton host Plymouth Marjon.
Boca Seniors will represent the North Devon Football League in County Cup action when they travel to Hedges FC and a big challenge against the Plymouth and West Devon club, who have conceded just nine goals in 11 league games and hold an impressive goal difference of plus 47. Georgeham & Croyde Rovers are the other local side on Cup duty, travelling to Exeter Royals.
