Bideford AFC juniors backed by McDonalds franchise
Bideford AFC Youth Teams have announced their continued sponsorship with McDonalds Bideford.
McDonalds Bideford have been the main sponsor for Bideford AFC Youth Teams for the past few seasons and this year proves no different. With a New Franchisee in place, Bideford AFC Youth are pleased to continue this relationship with the restaurant.
With this continued sponsorship, there are several events in the pipeline that both look forward to working on together with some community schemes which will be seen in the coming months.
As well as this continued sponsorship, McDonalds Bideford has very kindly donated a wide range of equipment from Balls and Bibs to training hurdles and speed ladders.
James Guilfoyle, Chairman of Bideford AFC Youth, said: “It’s great to have this continued sponsorship with McDonalds Bideford and cement the relationship we have with them.
“We are already discussing several community schemes we can do this year with our attention also looking at events for next year. We look forward to our annual May Bank Holiday Football Festival with the last day being McDonalds day, with all funds raised going to their chosen charity and our match with Bideford AFC Coaches vs McDonalds. This is always a fun evening had by all.

Marcus Dunn, Franchisee Supervisor, added: “It is with great pleasure that we continue our support and relationship that has built up over the past few years with Bideford AFC Youth. With my own child playing Grassroots Football at U11s, I know how important these relationships are, so we were very keen to jump on board and ensure this continued over the 2024/25 season.

This season there has been a good uptake of numbers throughout many of the age groups within Bideford AFC, although some age groups still having some spaces available for players. If anyone is thinking of signing up their child for football, contact the club for further information.
