Barnstaple victory at Helston
After a thrilling draw in their first encounter at Mill Road, Barnstaple Town made the long and daunting trip to Helston Athletic for the FA Cup replay.
Helston, champions of the Western League last season, were big favourites for victory on their home turf, but nobody told the Barum lads.
From the very first whistle, Barnstaple were swarming all over their Cornish hosts, and got the rewarded when Ryan Keates headed home the opening goal. Barum continued to dominate proceedings, deservedly doubling the lead with a close-range finish from Josh Parry.
Helston toiled and battled after the break but Barum held firm to set up a clash with Falmouth Town in the next round.
