Bruce Elston catches a monster
Paradise for angling
The joy of fishing combined with astonishing scenery surely makes North Devon one of the great angling hotspots in the country.
As if to prove the point, Bruce Elston visited the Anglers Paradise Eldorado Cat and Carp Lake in Beaworthy and landed this wonderful specimen, as reported by the excellent North Devon Angling News website.
In the latest Bideford Rod n Reel match, fished in delightful sunny conditions, Craig Lamey took top spot with a mixed bag of fish weighing in at 39lbs 5oz. Stephen Paul Sheller, Richard Jeffries and Antony Bentley took the minor places.
