North Devon flying the flag for England
While 99.9% of the country hid behind their respective sofas / pint glasses on Saturday evening, a North Devon football fan was right in the thick of the action.
As England trudged their way to another penalty shoot-out and all those dark memories from years gone by, a Bideford flag could be seen fluttering behind the goal of destiny.
We’re not saying Bideford won the shoot-out but, who knows, maybe we played a small part from North Devon.
