Company Cup
Brilliant day of bowls on a beautiful Bideford day
Bideford Victoria Park Bowling Club recently held its second Company Cup competition, with ten local teams taking part in this fun event.
Fine weather helped ensure that the event was a great success. A closely fought contest saw Slomans Removals coming out as the eventual winners, while second place went to Torridge Council ICT and Atlas packaging coming third.
The organiser, Sharon Hockin, said: “I want to thank all the companies taking part and our club members who gave up their time to help make this event so much fun.”
The event will be held again in 2025, and it will be extra special as it is Victoria Park Bowling Club’s 75th anniversary.
