New opportunities for girls with Devon Cricket Foundation

The Devon Cricket Foundation has announced the launch of two new Girls’ Cricket Hubs in North Devon and East Devon, providing free-to-access training for girls aged from 11-14 years.

Building on the first two hubs in Torbay and Plymouth, these new centres will be based at Kingsley School in Bideford and Bicton College in East Budleigh. Full information on the Devon Cricket website.

DCF's Women & Girls' Development Officer, Ann-Marie Presswell, said: "We are unbelievably pleased to be able to offer girls' hubs across the county and continue the momentum of growth across the girls’ game. Making winter training programmes accessible to more girls ensures skill development is levelled up and more players can go into the summer ready to play.

"Having spoken to both coaches at the current MCC Foundation Hubs, I have heard first-hand about the positive impact that the sessions are having on the girls’ cricket."
