Morgan Gabe heading to South Africa
The new year will be one of rugby adventure and education for Barnstaple RFC youngster Morgan Gabe, who is joining the esteemed Stellenbosch Academy of Sport, based just outside the beautiful South African city of Cape Town.
Morgan will join a programme that covers every facet of rugby performance, including mental skills development, nutrition, strength, conditioning and individual player performance. He will also benefit from playing matches alongside, and against, top quality talent.
A product of the Barum rugby youth system, Morgan started with the club as an U7 and has followed the pathway through to senior rugby with the Chiefs and the Athletic sides at Barnstaple RFC.
It is going to be an incredible experience for Morgan and everyone in North Devon sport wishes him the very best of luck at a rugby Academy that focusses on elite performance and excellence in all departments of the game.
