Cup football in North Devon

It was all about Cup football for teams in the North Devon League over the weekend and the usual suspects delivered the expected results.

Boca Seniors lead the way in the Premier Division and goals from Sam Box, Stuart Cameron, Jake Hawkins and Connor Nash ensured a 4-2 victory at Landkey Town, with Max Holding and Max Farmery on target for the hosts.

Park United are chasing Boca hard at the top and they also demonstrated similar efficiency in the Cup, with Stephen Skinner (2), Joe Grimley and Ricky Marinaro notching in a 4-0 victory at Appledore 2nds.

Jordan Wannacott smashed an impressive hat-trick for Appledore Lions as they trounced North Molton 2nds 8-0. Charles Allman, Adam Dobie, Mark Kinder, Harry Sugars and Rob Pusley scored the other goals. Braunton completed the away team dominance with a 2-0 success at Hartland Clovelly, thanks to Jordan Nott and Timmy Pike.
