THE annual golf match between teams from Ilfracombe Golf Club, the Police, RAF and Ilfracombe Veterans took place a few days after Christmas
Teams met with variable weather conditions, included strong winds, rain showers, hail showers and sun, but all the teams of finished the 18 hole event.
Ilfracombe Veterans came out on top with 150 pts, followed by Ilfracombe Club 147, Police 146 and the RAF 128.
The President’s Gavel trophy was presented by club captain Paul Clatworthy to veterans’ captain Alan Rowlands.
Top individual scores were: 1, Geoff Crocombe 35pts; 2, Andrew Mitchell 34pts.
