It was team knockout cup night for Bideford Summer Darts League players this week.

Beer Hammers took the Division 1 honours, with Heavily Trees as runners-up.

The trophy for Division 2 and 3 went to Heavitree Express, who defeated Wandering Anglers in the final.

The league finals night is being held at the Conservative Club on September 6.

BIDEFORD Ladies Summer Darts League came to its conclusion this week with an exciting climax to the Division 2 programme.

Liberal 69ers overcame leaders Banana Splits 2-1 to join them at the top and they will now have to play off to decide the Division 2 title.

Division 2: Lions 2 Crazy Gang 1 (1-1); Banana Splits 1 Liberal 69ers 2 (1-1);

Dambusters 2 Rileys Cupids 1 (2-0); Optimists 1 Joiners Jems 2 (1-1).

Final positions.

Division 1: Water Babies pairs 28, threes 16; Breakaways 23, 17;

Wangemin Six 23, 15; Trouble Shooters 22, 18; Birds of a Heather 21, 13;

Black Jacks 20, 13; Cheetahs 20, 12; Ally Cats 11, 8.

Division 2: Liberal 69ers 28, 23; Banana Splits 28, 17; Joiners Jems 27, 19
