ROWDIES finished the North Devon Table Tennis League season unbeaten, but still ended behind Cruisers, who outscored them overall in Division 2.Len Weston scored another treble for Rowdies in a 5-5 final match draw between the top two teams, to finish top of the Division 2 averages, with only one defeat. Cruisers are also through to the final of the Ramsey Trophy with Holsworthy B.Holsworthy were 5-1 victors over Smashers, while Cruisers had a closer match with Artics before shading it 5-4. Individual championships have been played down to final and semi-final levels.The Handicap singles final will be between Kevin Nicholls of Misfits and Mathew Thomas of Smugglers. The Vets Handicap will see Bill Tregellas of Sweeneys take on Gerald Luscombe of Castle Knights, who will also contest the Vets Open final against Terry Wright of Adjudicators - who has won the title on seven previous occasions.Kevin Taylor will meet Kevin Nicholls and Artics team mates Michael Sussex and Anthony Beal will fight it out in the semi-finals of the Open Singles.Final league results: Div 1 -Castle Knights 4, Tornados 6.
