BIDEFORD Colts got back to winning ways with a 7-5 win over Cullompton.The game started with a bang and both sides were in fierce competition for a much needed 2 points to push them up the league. There were some big tackles early in the game probably the biggest from Matt Bowes.Cullompton scored first with a try in the corner, although it appeared from some angles the ball was spilled before being put down.Bideford struck back almost straight away with some excellent rucking and positional kicking from the maturing Adam Crouch at fly-half. Seven phases later Crouch powered over to score and converted his own try. There were no further scores, but Cullompton could have pinched the result had it not been for Will Bathurst who made a great try saving tackle.
