NORTH Devon Road Runner John Shapland demonstrated his stamina with successes in the Ilminster Lions Charity 10k race quickly followed by more in the Cheddar Half Marathon.He completed the Ilminster event in 36min 41secs to finish sixth overall and first in the over-50s.He then completed the Cheddar in 1hr 18mins 25secs to again finish sixth overall and also win the Male Veterans Trophy. This result maintained John's standing as fifth in the UK Athletics rankings for this event.
